Terms of use / End User License Agreement

Authorized internal use

This integration is provided solely for internal use by the owner and expressly authorized operators for companies they are entitled to access. It is not a public subscription service. Permission is limited to using the provided local tool for company connections and authorized internal accounting analysis. Do not connect a company without administrator authority or share connection credentials.

Operation and limitations

The local tool is designed to retrieve selected accounting information without modifying QuickBooks records. Intuit's Accounting authorization scope itself includes write capabilities; application controls restrict this tool to supported reads. Authentication and disconnection use separate required provider operations. Production approval and live sandbox validation are pending. Availability and completeness depend on Intuit, local custody checks and authorized source access. Financial information and analysis may be incomplete or require reconciliation; the owner remains responsible for decisions and record verification. No accounting, tax, investment or legal advice is provided.

Security and third-party services

Protect the local computer, encrypted vault, credentials and backups. Do not bypass custody checks or use the callback on a shared or untrusted computer. Intuit and AWS services remain subject to their applicable terms. This agreement does not grant ownership of third-party services or replace their agreements. The privacy policy describes processing and retention.

Disconnection, termination and support

Use the local disconnect command or revoke the app through QuickBooks to end future access. Historical local records are handled separately under the project's retention decisions. The operator may suspend this integration for security, authority or provider requirements. It is supplied as available without a service-level commitment or guarantee of accuracy, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Contact alex@alexfriley.com for support or questions.
